Dewdrops

Listening to: King and Lionheart by Of Monsters and Men

This past week was a good prelude to the term.

Playing an observer's role, trying out new things (seven wonders board game, basketball and billiards exposure sessions), late night project work at the void deck, talking to the mit prof with lauren, talks that opened up my eyes to new opportunities in the future. Finally spending time with a much quieter and sincere company when I didn't get to last term.

A rather unpleasant encounter with a soon-to-be-voodoo doll, which I now have rekindled hatred for D< Why are people so mean? :( :( :(

Most of all, though, I realised how much I was kept inside the confines of my own class, more so in my own circle. Being in various foreign companies of people over this past month were refreshing, so many amazingly nice people, conversations that I would never have if not for this term break.

Well, new term, new goals, new and more challenging commitments to fulfill. Focus focus focus!! Without the design module weighing me down, I feel so much more empowered and ready to take on this term :)

Funny how each term always starts off with (naive) positivism. Let's hope I keep it this way haha.
The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

P.S. Still kind of apprehensive about meeting everyone back in school again :/
