Starry-eyed

Yesterday, I saw someone from a distance, yet I didn't go and say hi.. it just feels like people I know have become somewhat distant from the last time I met them. And it's not just because of the one-month break.. it's like I no longer know how to communicate with them. Not that I used to though, hmm. Just a thought.

Not looking forward to school at all. Class life had been both awkward and uncomfortable (NOT TO MENTION STRESSFUL) on so many levels, and a continuation of it is an utter horror (which I inevitably have to face I guess).

Why so pessimistic when school hasn't even started? Sally and I were playing out a scene in class and it was like OMG WHY DO I HAVE TO GO BACK TO THIS TORTURE.

When life gives you lemons, you take them in stride. But if it just keeps throwing them in your face, what else can you do?

Went out almost everyday for this past week to supposedly study. Not exactly very productive but it'll have to do, I guess. How mugger-ish can one even get during holidays!?

The past few days have almost been spent watching Japanese animation films, Summer Wars, The Girl who leapt through time, and Paprika.

These films all have completely unique concepts behind them (compared to typical American films), mostly fantasy-like, but it's amazing how they relate to our world today. Also, the artwork is breathtaking (esp in summer wars and paprika)!

On another note, my dyed shoes have turned into a pretty shade of blue <3
