Quiet company

Put a new song on top. Lyrics are (L).

Got reminded recently about this quote that had left a deep impression on me. Can't really remembering the phrasing, but it's something like, even silence becomes comfortable when you're with someone close.

Perhaps it's just the way I am, but sometimes the company of a person is enough to make me feel content & happy. It's a luxury to not feel awkwardness of gaps in usual conversations, or spend every moment stressing over new topics to talk about.

Obviously all there is to social convention is communication, communication, and more communication. I've to admit that there's nothing good in living through silence, but sometimes I wish that this place (school, mostly) would just quieten down for a bit.

Some thoughts were formed when reading this article which an ex-teacher shared on facebook.
